    Last updated: February 2026

This privacy notice for AlphaEdge Consulting GmbH ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your information when you use our product LynkQ and related services ("Services").

    1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you disclose to us. We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

Personal information provided by you may include: names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, usernames, passwords, contact preferences, contact or authentication data, billing addresses, debit/credit card numbers, and similar information.

Information automatically collected. We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and information about how and when you use our Services and other technical information.

    2. How Do We Process Your Information?

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

    • To facilitate account creation and authentication
    • To deliver and facilitate the delivery of services to the user
    • To respond to user inquiries and offer support
    • To send administrative information to you
    • To fulfil and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges
    • To request feedback and contact you about your use of our Services

    3. Business Card Image Processing

When you use our business card scanning feature, the images you capture are processed as follows:

    • Transient cloud processing. Business card images are temporarily transmitted to cloud-based AI infrastructure for the purpose of extracting contact information (such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and company details). Images are processed in memory only and are not persistently stored on the processing servers.
    • Permanent storage. After extraction, the original business card images are stored in our EU-based data centre (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) and associated with your account. You may delete these images at any time by deleting the corresponding contact, which permanently removes both the contact record and all associated images.
    • Extracted data. The structured contact information extracted from the images is stored in our EU-based database and is subject to the same data protection measures described in this policy.

    4. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:

    • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
    • Affiliates. We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honour this privacy notice.
    • Business Partners. We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information.

These may include the right to: request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information; request rectification or erasure; restrict the processing of your personal information; and if applicable, data portability.
